Robosapiens are very tidy beings. Leaving garbage does not compute and this routine often throws an error. In response to this possibility, Robosapiens have taken measures to ensure that nothing is left behind and that waste is managed efficiently during the burn. Here's our plan: 3 garbage bins will be placed in the 44 ft. event dome during events (1 on each side, and 1 near the entrance/exit). Within the camp, trash receptacles will be placed in key locations, near the kitchen, and in the tent zone. Everyone in the camp is responsible for their own garbage, but there will be campwide trash management responsibilities allocated to a rotation of camp members. These point-bots will be responsible for managing ongoing collection and storage of garbage for hauling once the event is over.
On the final day of the event, the entire camp will be responsible for combing the area for garbage, unclaimed debris, etc. and hauling it away. All structures will be broken down and hauled away. The art installation adorning the front of the camp will be completely removed. The camp will leave zero trace that it was there, reinforcing a tradition its members have had at past burning man events.
